We have an urgent need for an experienced Technical Writer to join one of
our clients for a 3-6 month contract to develop online help systems, user
manuals, technical documentation and scenario based content.
Our client is a global software company with a fantastic culture, great
office in the CBD and lots of work.
To be successful in securing this role, you will need;
- 3+ years experience in Technical Writing
- Proven experience in writing scenario based content rather than
reference based content
- Experience in a software development environment working with
developers and users
- Experience with Microsoft Office products, including the use of
SharePoint
- Advanced skills using help authoring tools and MS Word in a structured
authoring environment
- Experience with MadCap Flare will be highly regarded
- Knowledge of online help systems, Madcap Flare, and Web-based help
systems
- Adherence to company style guide
- Experience with VSTS desirable
- Great attitude towards work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, high attention to
detail and writing standards
This contract will be for 3 to 6 months and is for an immediate need.
Candidates who can start immediately up to and including the 28th June will
be preferred.
