Technical Writer - eCommerce
* Leading Investment Bank
* Sydney CBD
* Contract - initial 3 months
Our client, leading Investment Bank, is currently looking for a
Technical Writer to work on a eCommerce project.
Project:
* 1st Stage - Current State Assessment - Identify existing technology,
application and service-level capabilities that would fall into the
online services category. For example: Web Servers, Application Servers
and Content Management
* 2nd Stage - Business Alignment and Review - Give an indication of
which technologies are used by each business unit and the degree to
which the current capabilities meet their requirements. Capability gaps
may also be identified requirements.
Responsibilities:
* Technical writing for eCommerce technologies
* Documentation for allocated delivery projects, existing systems and
operations guides for eCommerce team
* Involved in development of technical documentation including templates
for the eCommerce team
* Records data from technical discussions (for later documentation)
* Delivery of process maps, guidelines, methodologies, reports, based on
HTML, Word, Excel, PDF, and Visio
* Participates as technical
Essential skills and experience:
* 5+ years of technical writing
* 2+ years eCommerce
* Strong understanding on technical architectures such as Web Servers
* HTML, MS Word, MS Excel, PDF and Visio
Desirable skills and experience:
* Extensive knowledge of Financial Services industry
