atw: Request: Please trim your posts

Hi all,
As someone who receives email 'digests' from this list, could I ask
you to please trim the information from previous posts, other than
that on which you specifically want to comment.
On this list, the formatting in the digest is extremely basic and
it's hard to tell where one post starts. When people include all
information from a previous post, or ten previous posts, it's time
consuming finding the beginning of the next post.
Trimming previous posts, or not including any of the information in
the previous post, is common protocol on many lists. Moderators will
often reject untrimmed messages.
If you'd like to quote information from a previous post, this is what
many groups do:
//This is sentence or para the previous poster included and to which
I'd like to respond.//
This is my response.
