I might be right, I might be wrong.

But with my Russian background, I'm not a Pom-M.E. Granat.

Granat = Russian for Garnet stone / Polish for Hand Grenade.
Granate = German for bomb shell fired from a cannon.
(According to teletype messages sent from The Bismark, which I saw on a 
documentary.)

No relation to the quartz, mica and feldspar Granite or my name would be 
Mica Granite).
