Hallo Janet and all
Yes, I'm delighted to say I'll be able present a session at ASTC Conference
2017, telling the story of *Tech Comm on a Map*. It's an app that I built,
as a way of learning the tech and getting to know my audience better. In
this case, the audience is app developers who want to use the Google Maps
APIs.
I'll tell the story of why and how the app came about, and show some of the
nuts and bolts of a web app and a native mobile app (Android). I'll also
talk a bit about open source for code, crowd-sourcing for data, and lessons
learned.
I'm hoping that'll be interesting to people!
Cheers
Sarah

Hallo Janet
Thanks! I'd also love to know who's planning to attend. I'll be there, for
one.
Cheers

This is a call for presenters. Would you have an interesting topic to
present on? Or know someone who does?
Presenters from Sydney will be given priority.
