I've just started with a new company.
They've been using Word-HDK for their context sensitive online help,
creating CHM files from Word documents. I gather they were having exteme
problems with compiling over a period and therefore have been
testing/reviewing alternate products. They've just purchase Help Studio
(they said it was very intuitive to use). I gather AuthorIT was also
looked at.

Any comments in regard to Help Studio, and/or the migration of the
existing Word files would be appreciated?

Cheers
Diana

I'm all for the right tool for the right job and personally prefer
AuthorIT=20
for online help (it rocks!), FrameMaker for big chunky manuals (although
the=20
version 7 I am using these days seems to have less support for
Distiller),=20
and MS Word for simple documents - especially if they are to be
maintained=20
by users.

cheers
