atw: Macquarie Dictionary call on despatch vs dispatch

Hi all
Could someone with handy access to a Macquarie
Dictionary pls help me out and let me know what the MD
says about whether preferred Aussie usage is despatch
or dispatch.
Thanks. The only dictionary we have around here is an
Australian Oxford, which prefers dispatch.
