Hi All, 

Our client is an emerging player within the Research & Development arena and
has a newly created requirement within their Biotechnology Division. Working
alongside a small team of Scientists and Engineers, this role of Technical
Writer will play in integrate part overseeing all departmental documentation
requirements. 

Your key responsibilities in this role will be; 

- Preparing documentation including data books, scientific reports,
specifications, web pages and presentations that capture the activities and
interests of the company. 
- Providing training materials to peers to close gaps in knowledge in this
highly multidisciplinary field. 
- Implementing, maintaining, improving systems that enable a flexible
approach to documenting the research (documentation systems, templates etc.)

- Working closely with SME's as well as liaising with a variety of key
stakeholders within the organisation. 

Required experience/skills; 

- At least 5 years' experience in writing technical documentation in a
research and development environment. (Alternatively, experience within the
scientific or engineering environment). 
- Tertiary qualifications, ideally in science or engineering. 
- Attention to detail. 
- Strong MS office skills. 
- Flexibility and dedication. 
- Strong interpersonal skills.
