Yes, thank God! (But not for selective threads, I'm afraid!)
To follow just the threads of interest, you can get the digest and then use
Find to skim-read it.
To get the digest, send an empty e-mail with the following details:
To: austechwriter-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
Subject: set austechwriter digest
