Hi austechies,

An associate in Hobart is wanting to establish a panel of experienced
training writers to edit, and sometimes write from scratch, learning guides
for local government agencies. Tasks might range from a few days to a few
months at a time. You will need Certificate IV in training assessment and
preferably tertiary studies in environment, health, law, accounting or
engineering.

The learning guides cover pretty much everything that local councils are
responsible for: maintaining roads and sewage plants, forestry, beaches,
environmental surveys, financial management and so on. The immediate need is
for help from someone who knows a thing or two about operational works
(particularly civic construction, such as roadworks). An important
requirement here is to the ability to write informatively for folk with
incomplete secondary education (such as those who hold up the STOP and SLOW
signs near roadworks) as well as for engineers.

Good news; the work can be done remotely.

Shoot me your CV if you're interested ... even if you live in Outer
Quambatook or Inner Manangatang.

Cheers
