Hi Cathy

If you are using Office XP, then the Microsoft Office Tools installed by
default (look under Start > All Programs (on WinXP) > Microsoft Office
Tools) - these include document imaging and document scanning apps. I
haven't used either, so have NO idea how effective they are. No doubt
they're nowhere near as effective as tools developed over time for such
a job, but hey, they're free with office XP and might be worth a try.

Does anyone know of an alternative to Adobe Capture which has the same
capacity of maintaining the integrity of the original document?

Thanks
Cathy
