The developer of NVDA created OSARA for Reaper. It seems to make Reaper
quite accessible with NVDA. Also, Snowman is working on JAWS scripts for
Reaper and OSARA. Reaper 5.11 was just released, there's a 60 day trial
license for Reaper.
Personally, I've been doing multi track audio with Audacity. I still use it
daily for multi track song ideas. I'm slowly learning the many functions in
Audacity. I've been using it daily for over a year and still learn
something new everyday.
I've got Reaper installed and ready to learn with but don't know if I can
stop recording in Audacity long enough to learn proficiency in Reaper. It
takes self discipline to learn. If you've got the self discipline then
learn it little by little and find yourself improving a little everyday.
I suppose that's a good mantra for life; "learn it little by little and find
yourself improving a little everyday"
