David
This has nothing to do with Audacity, I just wondered if you could send me
any information regarding navigation around the Internet, plus your Jaws
guide please. I would appreciate this.

Hi Peter,
Have you got VST plugins already on your system?
If there's a problem loading VST plugins, then you could try this to quickly
find out. When the install VST effects dialog opens, tab to the clear all
button and press it. Then tab to the ok button and press it. This will start
Audacity without loading any VST plugins.

David.

Hi, I downloaded audacity-win-2.0.6.exe from sourceforge and tried to
install it. Everything seems to be well until the end of the installation,
but when I try to run the program a dialog box comes.

“audasity is starting up press enter to install VST plug ins” and when I
press enter nothing happens, and I have to use task manager to close it.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. This happens on both Win 7 and Xp.
Thank you.

Peter.
