that is a huge file my friend. probably the things that you thought you deleted has not been deleted? how ever wave files are pritty larg so I would suggest backtracking through checking if everything that you deleted is actually deleted and probably saving to mp3. From: Dang Manh Cuong Sent: Sunday, September 09, 2012 11:25 AM To: Audacity For Blind Subject: [audacity4blind] my project file too large Hi listers I used d speech to generate two wave files, and import an mp3 file to make backround music. after adding silence, shift time using time shifter etc, my project have about 2 minute of lenght. but when I save it, the size it over 1gb. I don't know why, and how to reduce its size. I think I have something wrong. So let me give some details about my project 1. load the backround sound 2. Load the first narration sound and align it 3. apply reverb to narration sound 4. Duck the backround sound 5. delete the remaining audio after finishing the narration voice 6. Load the second narration sound and align all existed track to the end of it. 7. apply reverb. This makes my project over 1gb, and take alot time to export at wave or mp3 file. So anyone who know why and how to fix, please help me.
