What I usually do before I do a fade out is:
1. Press ctrl+'a' to select all tracks
2. Press 'end' to go to the end of all audio
3. Press the left arrow a few times until I get to the point where I want to
start fading out the audio
4press shift+'k' to select the audio I want faded out
5. press alt+'c' then the letter 'f' until I first letter navigate to the "Fade
Out" item, and then press enter.
After that I can press the space bar to evaluate if the fade out is as I
want/expect.
Peace,
David

Subject: [audacity4blind] editing a small selection of audio for fade-out
Hi all. I'm trying to fade out the end of a song I'm working on, and I elect
the part of the audio that I want to fade, but when I go to do the fade-out,
and play back the result, the fade-oout starts at the beginning of the song
instead of at the end where I want it. Any help would be most appreciated.
Shane
