Hello David,
Later in my articles I will be covering selecting audio, however, Andrew has
done an excellent job of doing it one way, there are others of course,
especially the new way in the latest Audacity, my question is, would Andrew
allow me to just copy his audio for the relevant part? giving him the credit
of course, otherwise I will virtually copy his instructions more or less
word for word, I don’t mind doing that of course, but he made such a good
job of it that it would be nice to use it in my article when I come to that
part for selecting.
If you could ask Andrew for me, or let me have his e mail address if that’s
alright with him, I would be grateful.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Best Regards, Jim.

Hi Gary,
Andrew, who is on list list, has produced a short introduction:
https://www.sendspace.com/pro/dl/v56cn4
There's the following guide, which is more of a reference than a tutorial:
http://vip.chowo.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/jaws/Audacity-2.2.0-Guide.html
And there's always the Audacity Manual which can be opened from the help
menu.
In July, Jim Gamage is starting a new series of articles on Audacity over on
Talking computers:
http://www.talking-computers.org.uk/
In fact there are a number of his previous articles on Audacity available
there, though there have been a number of changes to Audacity since those
were created.
David.
