Hi John,
the file you need to save is Lame_v3.99.3_for_Windows.exe, not the zip
file. If you save and then run this file, it will install lame for you,
David.

Hi David,
Thanks for the resources you sent me…
However I’m having a time of it figuring out how to install the lame
encoder. I followed the directions in your manual, and saved the zip file
to my downloads folder. After clicking or hitting enter on it, I get a zip
dialog box alright, but no buttons for installing or invoking it. I must be
missing something here. For other zip files, I would always get an option
to unzip to my specified destination. Again, I must be missing something.
Any ideas?
Thank you,
John Chilelli
