I can reproduce the problem with 2.1.2 if the project is 2hrs long. However, if
you set the zoom to normal, comma and period work ok. To set the zoom to
normal, either open the view menu and choose zoom normal, or press the shortcut
ctrl+2.
Neither 2.1.0 or 2.1.1 have this problem.
