The easiest way to pause recording )or playback) is to press the
letter "P" on the keyboard.
Press the letter P again to resume the recording.

Hi all,

Now when I say would want to record from a cassette (two sides) how do I
pause the Audacity recording programme temporarily so that I can turn over
the cassette when it has finished side one so as not to have gaps in the
digital recording?
