@Robert I would be happy to upload your more complex version to the
Audacity wiki if you don't have a wiki account.

No doubt about it. Sophistication has its price.
My vocal reduction tool doesn't use AI, that's the main difference.
Nevertheless, it does a good job on stereo tracks. It's a matter of
tweaking the parameters to get a good result.
One has to get the pan, width, delay and rotation of the vocals right
in order to achieve the best result.
Unfortunately, I was prohibited to include these tools so one has to
chase for additional plugins like my 2d Stereo Toolkit.

Robert, it sounds like very nice software. For my humble purposes,$400US

I think the best tool by today's standard is Izotope's RX8 master
rebalance.
I'm always amazed how good it is in creating stems from a single file
(Percussion, Bass, Vocals and Other).
Yesterday is a bad example since the original file is mono and the
of the stereo remasters are questionable.the

Hi Michael
In Audacity’s Effects Menu there are two potential options. One is
Vocal Reduction and Isolation and the other is Vocal Removal. I
neither to be very effective on one song, Yesterday by the Beatles.
Both worked much better, but not perfectly, on Bridge Over Troubled
Water.
Another option is to go to Spleeter at https://ezstems.com/. Upload
your song and select parameters. It splits the song into stems –
separate tracks for different instruments and vocals. Interestingly,
it didn’t like Yesterday, saying there was a problem. On other songs,
though, it is quite amazing. If you choose, for example, four stems
you get a Zip file with four files. Load them into Audacity and mute
know.vocal track.
