I will assume that you do not necessarily want the beginning of each track. you
could enable Stereo mix in the recording area of windows sound settings. change
the recording in audacity to reflect the change using stereo mix says that he
will be recording with it. Forgive my jagged response, I just woke up and I’m
now getting coffee. Now, you can record from YouTube directly into audacity.
if it’s the beginning of the track, And jaws speaks, but you can easily Cutthe
unwanted pieces out. if you would like some one on one help with this, call me
later this afternoon and I will help.

Hiya,
Another hopefully not too daft question for you all…
I want to make some clips of songs for a charity quiz I’m doing this week and
wondering the best way to do it.
I can play the songs via spotify on the computer but don’t know how to get
Audacity to grab the audio so I can then edit it. I have thought of
connecting my mobile via the line-in on my pc but not sure what settings I
need on audacity to capture the audio without also capturing the Jaws output.
Any suggestions gratefully received.
With thanks,
Sarah
