Yes, simply save to an Audacity project by pressing control-s. Regardless of how many tracks there are in the project, they will be saved to a file with a .aup extension. For example, mymemoires.aup. In the same folder as that file a folder called mymoire_data will be created. Do not copy either to someone else without copying both.
