Is this an "expected" problem when changing keyboard layout so that non-Latin-alphabet characters change position? According to this http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/84/KB_Danish.svg you'd have to use CTRL + ALT + 8 and CTRL + ALT + 9 to type [ and ]. Is that what happens, and do those key presses then function as [ and ] in Audacity? Unless Audacity is the only program that has this issue, I doubt it would be called a bug. > Others on the list may know about podcasts, and the problem with audacity > killing your sound card - not at all friendly. I think the man who runs: http://theaudacitytopodcast.com/ may be on Mac so perhaps you could e-mail him from the link on that page. When you use Audacity preferences, it queries the sound devices but this should not change the audio devices unless you make such a change. The query should not cause one of the devices to fail. Does the same thing happen if you SHIFT + O to open the "Select Output Device" dialogue, then click OK without changing the device?
