Hi agree with David that it is much nicer to have everything contained in
the .aup file. Just be aware that sometimes when closing Audacity there
will be a delay while it does some housekeeping by way of getting rid of
unwanted temporary files.

Yes, it is much easyer, but I was wondering where the actual áudio is
stored, because the AAUP3 file used to be kind of a texto file with
indications of áudio files that would be loaded to the project. Now, as I
see, the AUP3 file includes the actual áudio. Thanks.

My understanding is that everything is saved within the aup3 file.
Im not sure if this is the intent but I find it much easier to share
Audacity projects because it is all built into one file.
Cheers,
David

Hello.
Audacity previously saved a project within its separate folder. Now, the
only thing I get when I save a project is the .aup3 file. Where does it save
the áudio of the project itself? Thanks.
