Hi DJ Anon!
Yes, something broke regarding accessibility in Audacity. This means that I at
this point haven’t looked at Audacity in the latest updated versions, but most
of the actions will work, but Voiceover can not get the informations as good as
in other programs.
I hope that the developers of Audacity can adress some of this in the future.
Audacity is a very nice tool, and I wish some of the bugs on the Mac was fixed,
then I would use it a lot more for my productions.
But it is possible to get around, but if you save a project or export
something, you have to close Audacity completely down and reopen your project.
It might be therefor you are having some trouble navigating.
Best regards Thomas

Hello everyone,
I’m a new user with Audacity and I use Voice Over on my MacBook Pro and
I’ve looked through some of the tutorials and manuals for blind users but I’m
wondering if any of you know if there are or need of some kind of Voice Over
additions to get feedback for Audacity? I ask this because I don’t know when
a command has executed or not.
Additionally, Where can I find the commands to navigate between tracks? This
is much different from that of a Windows computer I’ve noticed.
Thanks in advanced
DJ Anon
