Hello.
It depends on the type of hardware and microphone you are using.
First, you need to make shure that all windows volume settings are ok.
Then, in Audacity, you have some tools to amplify, and normalize the
volume of the audio.
Just import the instrumental into Audacity, and after having your mic
plugged and set up, just press r. You will hear the music and be able to
sing upon.
