Hi Thomas

Once you save the file, you cannot undo previous actions.  As you suggested,
before embarking on a major revision consider saving a copy of the project
with a slightly different name.  Then, if things go horribly wrong, you can
simply revert to the previous file.  Because I am such an equivocator when
it comes to tailoring effects, this can be a useful practice.

Subject: [audacity4blind] How to save the undo history with an Audacity
project

Hi!

Is there any way of saving an Audacity project with the undo history so
edits can be undone even after saving a project, or would it be necessary to
save a copy of the project instead?

Best regards Thomas
