I tell you what I.ve understud about autotalent.
An other corrector of tuning is GSnap.
Autotune parameters:
1 mix source-effect - default 100: 100=effect only; 0: only source. 50=effect
and sourcefifty fifty.
2 pitch shift of effect (moves the pitch of the effect) - default 50 = the
same tone; 100 = 12 semitones up. 0 = 12 semitones down.
Note that: the pitch shift occurs after
applying the effect. i.e. if you load a c major scale, and you transpose with
this parameter 1 tone, the e note result f diesis, not natural f.
however:
to 60= up 1 tone; 66= 3 semitones; 70=4 semitones; 73= 5; 77= 6; 81=7; 86= 8;
90= 9; 94= 10; 97= 11;
down: 40=-1 tone; 34=-3; 30=-5; 27=-6; 20=-7; 17=-8; 13=-9; 10=-10; 9=-11;
Note that autotune adds undesirable harmonics to the original sound.
3 tune - default 50. I.ve not understud!
4 corection - default 100 - 100= absolute correction. 0= no correction of
original sound.
5. glide - graduation glide from one note to another. default 0= same
glissato of original sound. 100= no glissato.
6-17: then the twelve notes from c to b
i.e.: c major:
6 c=100; 7c#=0; 8 d=100; 9 d#=0; 10 e=100; 11 f=100; 12 f#=0; 13 g=100; 14
g#=0; 15 a=100; 16 a#=0.
with "tab" you can go to "save button. You must write the extension:
cmaj.xml, otherwise after you don't found
the file.
Autotalent is a real-time pitch correction plug-in. You specify the notes
that a singer is allowed to hit, and Autotalent makes sure that they do. You
can also use Autotalent for more exotic (Cher / T-Pain) effects. It also can
be used as a pitch shifter or for faux vocal doubling.
open source pitch correction LADSPA plug-in. All credit goes to Tom for the
algorithm. At the moment it is designed to be used on a mono track, if used
on a stereo track, the left channel will be copied to the right.
