Subject: Freshers' Fayre and Beowulf lecture

Nerdy peeps-

1. Freshers' Fayre is on this Wednesday, playing fields outside the University 
gym, access from 11am (10 for disabled access). Come renew your membership, and 
if you also want to staff the stall for a while when you're there, then you get 
a cookie. Or something.

2. I will be giving a rather fancy lecture, all about the super-clusters I've 
been working on over the summer, in late November. It will be free to CompSci 
members, obviously, and there'll be free coffee, as well as free 
"insta-cluster" DVDs for your LAN. (People smarter than me will be speaking, 
yes.) Plus there'll be an interactive demo of the massive Beowulf in the lab, 
so y'all can come poke it and race each other to crash it and stuff. It'll be 
awesome.

What I need to know is, what dates are not good? What kind of time/day would 
everyone prefer?

...Now come to the damn fayre.
