Assistant Professor of Instruction
The Mechanical Engineering Department at Northwestern University invites
applications for a full time non-tenure-track position of Assistant Professor
of Instruction. Under special circumstances a more senior (Associate or Full
Professor) appointment may be considered dependent on qualifications.
Applicants should have an earned doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering or a
related field and have experimental or prototyping experience. The ideal
candidate will be able to teach a wide variety of courses including systems
dynamics (mechanical and electrical systems), capstone design course sequence,
manufacturing, and aerospace engineering (e.g. propulsion) courses. To ensure
