Dear Ishrat,
The residential teacher's training workshop for Amravati ATC was conducted
from 23rd December 2017 to 28th December 2018. More than 120 teachers from
75+ Ashram Shalas attended the workshop.
The teachers were divided into four sections, each section having 30-32
teachers. The focuses in the sessions were mainly on conducting hands on
experiments to learn/ clarify the topics and also on working in tolis or
groups.
The sessions in the training were divided into four major sections: Physics
1 covered Magnets and Simple Machine, Physics 2 covered Sound and Light,
Chemistry covered Our Food and Separation and Biology covered Our Crops and
Internal organs of Human Body. There were two more compulsory sessions, one
on Emotions and Learning in a child and the second one on importance of
asking questions. Apart from these some informal sessions were also planned
for the evenings.
A detailed draft report of the workshop has been attached. Please have a
look and suggest if any changes are required to be made.
