How to reproduce the problem:-
Draw a rectangle A,
Draw a bigger rectangle B
Cover A with B
Select both A and B
Apply a ClipView - ctrl-shift-c
Remove ClipView - ctrl-shift-c
Rectangle B is restored
Rectangle A is now a shape, not a rectangle
This a nuisance, as if you undo the ClipView to modify it the shape is not
constrained when you drag it by a corner.
The same problem occurs if A is an ellipse.
Curiously, however, if you only partially cover the smaller object it is
restored properly when the ClipView is removed.
