We are now accepting applications for Fall 2018 - Summer 2019 Sessions

Session supports the creation of new work by giving artists flexible
workspace, funding, and resources to realize ambitious projects. Every
Session remains open to the public at every stage of the project’s
development. The program moves beyond a traditional residency structure to
place emphasis on fostering interactions between artists and audiences
throughout the creative process.
Recess's 2018 Artist Review Panel includes Rashida Bumbray,
curator/choreographer, Senior Program Manager, Arts Exchange, Open Society
Foundations; Howie Chen, artist and Executive Director and Co-founder,
Dispatch; Brendan Fernandes, former session artist; Ruba Katrib, Curator,
MoMA PS1; and Diya Vij, Co-Director, Public Artists in Residence, NYC
Department of Cultural Affairs.
An information session about the program will be held on Tuesday, February
6 at 6:30 pm.
