I wonder if it's cryogenic compatible?
I'd stick with proven Teflon tape on threads in good condition. Torque
values for pipe fittings are found online. The cylinder can be gripped with
a chain wrench
or a bench mounted chain vise.
It doesn't take that much torque to get a leak tight joint when prepared
correctly.

If it’s not sealing with threads in good condition, with Teflon
tape/krytox/lots of torque, try XPando.
XPando is a oxygen safe paste sealer that is sold as a dry powder. Mix
with water per the instructors and torque it down. It expands to fill gaps
and make a seal as it dries. It’s likely similar to what was on there
before. It’s sold by McMaster.

I am new to this list so please bear with me if I am off base. I have a
near complete test stand for my 1KN Lox and for now alcohol fueled motor.
Did some N2 pressure testing today and are experiencing small leaks past
our ex medical oxygen cylinder neck thread. Teflon tape did not help. Also
used as much force as we could Imuster to get the taper thread to seal.
Does anyone have any tips for sealants or otherwise to solve this issue.
All other joints and valves are ok.
