I wondered if anyone has any information or background on a UK company called
SpaceLS, short for Space Launch Systems. They are a relatively new start up in
the UK who are looking at building a vehicle to launch cubesats. They seem to
be reverse engineering the Bristol Siddelley Gamma engine, as used in the Black
Knight Rocket and the Black Arrow satellite launcher.
Not much information about who they are and exactly what they are doing on
their website. The individual behind it all has one other previous start up
under his belt, which was a coffee company....Apologies if he is on this
mailing list, I'm not trying to cast aspersions, merely trying to find out
where they are in terms of progress towards a viable system.
My interest springs from the idea of reverse engineering the Gamma engine.
