Actually during the Columbia Disaster Investigation, they believe some of
the astronauts were rendered unconscious or died from their heads impacting
the the inside of their helmets. As to when that happened, who knows, as
some of the Astronauts left their seats when the ?nylon? straps melted and
released them. Probably should have used crash helmets and
fiberglass/graphite cloth straps instead. Entry suits should hold pressure
at high temperatures too.

seriously dangerous.
What breaks/damages your neck is jolt. ( linear or rotation. )
That is why you do not shake little kids to quiet them down :-)
