If you haven't already done so, Google "Enable .net 3.5" and implement the fix.
This is an error that sometimes comes up when people install the RASAero II
software. The fix above almost always solves the problem. It's likely the fix
will also work for Propep3.

I thank everyone who responded to this query, but I still have the following
problem: When trying to install the most common version, I get the message
that I need to have Microsoft .NET version 3.5 on my machine. Well, I have
version 4.5 as part of the Windows 10 OS, and it doesn't want to let me install
(or use) 3.5. And the "Microsoft" website from which I could install it looks
pretty dicey.
Does anyone know of workarounds?

That is correct. Runs on Windows 7 and Windows 10.

Charles: thanks! but it seems that only the Windows binary (propep3.msi) is
available.

Needless to say with Propep3 and RASAero II Coop has made substantial
contributions to high power and amateur rocketry.

Check out Propep3, it's the version I've used that works well on modern
Windows: http://www.rimworld.com/loggerusb/propep3/intro.html
In the past I've used RPA (https://rocket-propulsion.com/index.htm) for more
complex formulas that aren't in the standard pepcoded files, but this is
commercial software and it looks like the trial version is more limited than I
remember.
