    No answers from me(*), but I would query boatyards, especially
    ones that
    focus on sailboats of decent size.

    (*) Eg. I have some reference books on sailboat design that talk
    about
    it, but real life has prevented me from digging into the subject.

Biggest difference is going to be anchoring.  Radio Towers typically not moved around and set up for each use.
