You need diamond drills for carbon fibre composite? That surprises me.
I’ve cut hundreds of FGC and CFC parts in the past (including very densely
packed CF/FG phenolic composites) with normal tools (mostly carbide though)
without issue although that’s usually with slower speeds and coolant though.
I’ve personally found that FG is more abrasive than CF on tooling.
