Hello,
I am looking into some various methods to decompose hydrogen peroxide for my
engine, however It is proving difficult to find a way to integrate catalysts
like manganese dioxide into the design due to the fact that they are a powder.
Do you have any advice how I would go about this? Currently I am considering
placing it in between two screens to hold it in position, would this work? Or
would it fall through? Are there any other catalysts out there that may be
easier to work with?
Also, as a small other question, I asked about peroxide before and it was
kindly mentioned that I would require higher concentrations of roughly 80/90%
to vaporise the water produced, what would happen if water gets into the
combustion chamber?, and what are your opinions on concentrating my own
peroxide if I cannot find a supplier?
I am still learning about engineering of such devices so I appreciate all the
help so far :)
