There is no screening or curation of posts to aRocket, so posts should
be distributed fairly quickly.
Given how email works, a post could be seen in minutes, but sometimes
up to tens of minutes, depending on the email servers involved. If the
mail server at a list member's ISP is overwhelmed, that can be a
source of trouble too.
The service that handles this list also serves many other lists, and I
suspect that it is becoming sluggish.
I can resurvey the list service marketplace and see if something
better is available - is this a general issue for list members? Is
the delay troublesome? Those who have comments are welcome to address
them directly to me, if they don't want to share their views publicly.

Subject: [AR] Arocket "curation"
I have noted over the past nine-twelve months that my posts to arocket seem
to take 12-36 hours to actually turn up on the list.
Are others experiencing the same thing? Or Is arocket being "curated"--to be
polite about it? Or is this experience unique to only a subset of users? Or
is there some technical reason for consistent significant delays in posting,
which do not occur at any other such forum?
