Hey Pax,
Great to hear from you! Formula SAE is really cool too. I got to check out
the UNM car when they were at the Albq Supernationals car show last year, lots
of great engineering there.
Another aRocket event would be really cool, I'd love to do something like that
again. Maybe at the Spaceport this time. I will see if I can sit down with
the event coordinator this week and see how the Spaceport folks were to work
with.
What kind of rockets are you working on these days? I'm just getting back into
it, after a fifteen year hiatus. Looking to start with a simple nitrous
hybrid. Nearly have completed a portable trailer test stand, able to test
nozzle up, down or sideways, to about 1,000 pounds thrust.

Ray, long time
no talk. Brian called me and asked if I was going as well
and that prompted me to get back on aRocket. I think the
list server changed a long time ago and I stopped getting
messages.
I really want to go meet up with you all, but I
am already going to Lincoln Nebraska to compete with the UNM
Formula SAE team. I tried to get the UNM rocket team to
enter IREC but they decided to build the behemoth you likely
saw go splat instead. I got to spec out and build the CTI
O8000 though, so that was cool.
Any chance for another New Mexico aRocket meeting
and launch like back in the day? Graduating soon and will
have time to mix some propellant and fly some stuff later
this summer. Get Richard Nakka to come down
again.
Have fun!
