As an update, I initially rolled back to OS8 and did the printing I needed
urgently to do and got that out of the way and this time upgraded to OS11
(Feb 2018) and this worked I can now print to postscript printing fine
from the various applications.
I also removed !PDFMaker for the time being as well (until an update is
available for using with !Printers 1.89 etc.) I still use the superb
!PrintPDF from Steve Fryatt instead.
I can only conclude it was some odd "bug" in the OS10a release causing all
the issues I had.
I am now a happy person... :-)
