Jim, what font type are you using in StrongED (system, bitmap, outline)?
I'm guessing it's bitmap. If so, could you switch StrongED to system
font and see if that shows the same problem. The system font engine
doesn't use direct screen access (DSA) only OS calls so should be okay.
Andrew, do you know if the acceleration is just rectangle copy/move (and
maybe fill)? Or is there caching of screen areas too (like Geminus)?
Geminus' caching proved a problem with applications that used DSA and
had to be turned off for StrongED.
