By coincidence I was recently investigating a completely different problem
and did a search for documents created in the last year. The search I used
was for any file after April 2017 and to my great surprise it produced
quite a few with date stamps that were either well in the future (eg:
03:05:20 29 August 2033) or had invalid timestamps (eg: 00070000 00070000).
In the directory I searched there were only 3 or 4 of each, and I used
!StampIt to correct the future dates to be similar to their peers, but
!StampIt would not accept those with invalid dates.
I have just run a search on my whole drive (not just the bit I searched
before) for files dated after today, which found lots of files.
As Jim says - weird.
