Using SideDiff on AMX6 I get an error message: Undefined font handle at

This doesn't happen on Iyonix, so I assume it is a compatibility problem.
The ROOL website says compatibility unknown.
I'm running 2.44 (2005) which is the latest version I can find, but I've
seen references to a fix for this problem with a later version (on Google
forums that I can't read with NetSurf, so I just see the clip from the
search engine).
Does anyone else have this problem, and if so is there a fix, and how
can I get it?
You should use the version supplied in Text folder on ARMX6 - that's the
only one I have tried. It seems to work fine here, as far as I can tell.
Based on the error message, a few things come to mind...
1) What desktop font are you using? My test ARMX6 runs with standard
Homerton. I wonder if you were using a different font (esp the dreaded
"System" font) the program might misbehave?
2) Do you have a large number of fonts installed?
Some of the Bazley family read this list (Harriet wrote the program, I
believe) so you may well be able to find out more direct from the author.
Kind wishes,
Andrew
