This !pdfutils sounds useful. I used it at one point in the past on my
son's Linux box, which is no longer in reach. Do I understand, Jim,
that there's now a Ro version of it? If so, where to get? Not listed
at Plingstore.
The recent URL posted here has a version just under !PDF at
http://www.riscos.info/packages/DocumentDetails.html
It doesn't have *all* the utils you'd find for Linux. But it has some
useful commands.
I also use !Jsize because pdfs often contain jpegs which 'fib' about
their resolution.
Same Qs: Where can this be obtained? Who wrote it?
See

Ideally, I'd love a way that automated:
1) Use pdfimages -j to extract jpegs from a pdf
2) Then run them all though Jsize to set them all to 300dpi.
3) Then used the old '!Remane' (renamer) to give them sensible names and
extensions. (I keep getting '.jpg' and want '.jpeg' for consistency.
Although IIRC I had to tweak !Remain to let it have jpeg on its list)
!Jcut is also handy for rotating/cropping without loss.
