I too get this error sometimes on booting up my ArmX6, and I do not
have a KVM switch. Happens about once a week (the machine is switched
on each morning and then runs all day).
Click Cancel on the error box. The keyboard and mouse are frozen;
nothing possible but switchoff.
FWIW I never get a freeze. The system simply fails to let me read the EDID
or, thus, use HDMI audio.
Occasionally, but *very* rarely I get the error when the system hasn't been
on for a long time. But it happens every time if I try using the ARMX6
within, say 5-10 mins of having used my Linux box.
