Fortunately almost every 32Gb and smaller SD card comes FAT32
formatted "out of the box".
Just bought one and found that it was already FAT32.
If anyone on this just is not aware, there are some sellers of "fake"
cards that are low capacity and/or slow.
The key is to only buy "good" brand/grade cards, and avoid super-cheap
deals. With SD cards, if it is too good to be true, it is. The price
premium on good cards is quite small (usually a handful of pounds), so
really sticking to good names such as sandisk, samsung, kingston and
possibly lexar should be pretty safe.
Put it this way, a 32Gb card for <5ukp from a vendor you're not familiar
with is probably a bad choice.
Of course, your friendly RISC OS supplier (gestures to the address / phone
number in the signature below) is always happy to supply "known good"
products.
