Whilst I can't explain why it would go from working to not working 
(suggests something external - eg. have you altered anything in your 
network), some 5.20 ethernet issues were solved for people by issuing 
a *unplug etherusb command at the command line, and rebooting.  This 
causes the driver to be soft-loaded from !Boot as in earlier 
incarnations.
